Westlane Farms raise naturally lean beef for sale for your deep freeze. It is the genetic composition of the Blonde cattle which contribute considerably to the lean and finer texture of the beef. A well balanced diet, clean water, and good management all help to ensure the health and quality of our cattle. They are fed no hormones or implants, but a ration of hay, straw, barley and oats. The meat is naturally lean and has a finer texture which results in less cooking time and is easily digestible. Although lean, there is sufficient fat cover to ensure marbling & good taste.

Our most popular combination is the Split Side, which gives you a variety of all cuts, both front and hind quarters, and totals approximately 192 lbs. It will cost approximately $566 giving you approximately 125 lbs of beef in your deep freeze.

Genetics has not given us a 100% "Steak-Only" beef animal, and therefore, approximately half of your package may be hamburger. Of course, you could make this meat into sausages or hamburger patties if you like. This choice would result in additional cost to you.
